Since being founded in 2018, Fairway Consulting and Engineering LLC (Fairway) has successfully executed dozens of projects on its way to becoming one of the premier Consulting and Engineering firms in southeast Louisiana.

Licensed to provide Engineering Services in Louisiana and Mississippi, along with registered Professional Engineers in both states and Alabama, our team specializes in the following: Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering (Water/Wastewater), Project & Program Management, Emergency Response & Recovery, and Federal Services.

Our Team

John Catalanotto, PE, PMP
President

John Catalanotto, the President and Principal-in-Charge of Fairway, brings over seventeen years of comprehensive experience in the consulting and engineering industry. His role entails overseeing day-to-day operations, providing strategic direction, managing client relations, and ensuring project delivery and quality. Prior to establishing Fairway, Mr. Catalanotto spent fourteen years with a global environmental consulting firm, where he played various roles in water and wastewater improvement projects for the public sector. His expertise ranged from evaluations to designing treatment plants, pump stations, water wells, and piping systems. He later ventured into project management, client service management, and regional management roles, including two years as a project manager in an oil and gas consulting and engineering firm. Since founding Fairway, Mr. Catalanotto has excelled in managing and executing site civil designs for land development projects, encompassing site planning, grading, paving, and drainage plans. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI), and an active member of various esteemed professional organizations.


David Martin
Senior Project Manager

David Martin specializes in providing design and construction administration services for governmental and municipal infrastructure projects, focusing on water, wastewater, stormwater, conveyance/distribution, storage, pumping, and treatment facilities. With a strong background in general municipal infrastructure, David has successfully executed a wide range of projects for municipal, industrial, and private clients. His attention to detail and expertise make him a valuable asset in delivering exceptional results. Passionate about engineering and innovation, David continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of municipal infrastructure


Matthew Loker, PE
Engineer

Matthew Loker is a licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana and a valuable member of the Fairway team. With expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, and civil engineering, he consistently delivers high-quality projects while meeting client expectations. His experience includes on-site civil designs for land development, structural foundation analysis, pump station calculations, and consulting on wastewater improvements. Additionally, Mr. Loker’s impressive two-year contribution to transportation research in Louisiana resulted in co-authorship and presentation at the Transportation Research Board (TRB) annual conference in Washington D.C., demonstrating his commitment to advancing the field of transportation engineering.


Tiffany Brauner, M.Ed.
Admin. Assistant/Office Manager

With an extensive background of nearly 20 years in healthcare, particularly in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Tiffany Brauner brings valuable expertise to her role as the Administrative Assistant/Office Manager at Fairway Consulting + Engineering. In addition to overseeing general office management and performing administrative duties, she actively contributes to the development of Statements of Qualifications for project opportunities. Mrs. Brauner also plays a pivotal role in community outreach and marketing efforts, while providing crucial support in document control for ongoing projects. Her multifaceted skills and dedication make her an indispensable asset to the Fairway team.
