John Catalanotto, PE, PMP
President
Mr. John Catalanotto serves as President and Principal-in-Charge of Fairway, and has over seventeen (17) years of experience within the consulting and engineering industry. In his role at Fairway, Mr. Catalanotto is responsible for day to day operations, strategic direction, Client relations, and project delivery and quality. Prior to establishing Fairway, Mr. Catalanotto spent approximately fourteen (14) years with a global environmental consulting firm fulfilling numerous roles for primarily public sector water and wastewater improvement projects. Projects ranged from evaluations to design of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, water wells, and gravity and pressure piping systems. As Mr. Catalanotto’s career progressed, he transitioned into Project Management, Client Service Management, and Area (Regional) Manager Roles. Mr. Catalanotto also spent two (2) years as a Project Manager for an oil and gas consulting and engineering firm. His experience within the oil and gas industry was primarily focused on managing/executing upstream capital and maintenance projects. Since establishing Fairway, Mr. Catalanotto has become well versed in the management and execution of site civil designs for land development projects, including the development of site, grading, paving, and drainage plans and studies. He has also gained significant experience with structural designs within the industrial and private residential sectors.
Mr. Catalanotto is graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program, a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is an active member of the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, Northshore Business Council (NBC), Covington Business Association (CBA), Plaquemines Association of Business and Industry (PABI), American Council of Engineering Companies (ACES), Louisiana Engineering Society (LES), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), , Society of Military Engineers (SAME), and an Affiliate Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New Orleans Chapter.
