Project Description
Fairway Consulting and Engineering (Fairway) was the lead Civil Engineer for the site civil design for a 100,000+ square foot ambulatory surgery center located on Bootlegger Road in St. Tammany Parish. Fairway oversaw and coordinated with the development of a Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) with the project subconsultant and designed roadway improvements resulting from the TIA. Fairway developed design drawings and specifications that included the construction of a new left turn lane into the 18-acre site. The left turn lane included 50-feet of storage and 205-feet of deceleration and taper, as well as the widening of the existing roadway and construction of new embankment.
