Project Description
Fairway Consulting + Engineering, LLC (Fairway) was the lead Civil Engineer for the development of an approximately 12.5-acre site within incorporated Covington, Louisiana. The site was developed for the construction of eighty (80) single-family homes and required an amendment to an existing Planned Unit Development (PUD). Fairway was the Civil Engineer for the project responsible for validating the design of all civil infrastructure (water, sewer, and drainage). Fairway also performed a hydrologic study of the site and presented the results of the study in a Drainage Analysis Report that was accepted by the City. The project was completed under a very aggressive scheduled and required close coordination and collaboration with Local and State Regulatory Agencies. The project was completed on schedule and within budget and received unanimous approval by the City’s Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission.
