Project Description
The Uniform Development Code (UDC) is the guiding document that sets forth the guidelines and regulations for all development within the Parish. Numerous conflicts and discrepancies have been introduced to the UDC due to it being modified several times over the past twenty (20) years. The UDC also requires updating and modernization due rapid growth in the Parish. Fairway Consulting and Engineering (Fairway) is the Prime Consultant for the project responsible for its overall management. Fairway also provide technical advise on the engineering aspects of the Code, as well as wrote the infrastructure standards. The updated UDC will go through public comment, and be presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission and Parish Council for approval and adoption.
